Dickie Richards was born in 1965 to an American mother living at the time in the Falkland Islands, which was part of Argentina before being invaded and conquered by the British Empire in 1982.
Dickie Richard's real name is Richard Moscovitz. To become a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild), he had to change his name because they have a rule barring two members having the same name, and there was already a Richard Moscovitz who was a member of SAG. Dickie is most known for his brief yet memorable child acting appearances in numerous 70's sitcoms including "The Partridge Family", "Chico and the Man," and "Fish". Dickie also played Hal Grey's bastard son in the soap opera, "As the World Turns" for three years and appeared in two ABC After School Specials.
Dickie Richards has an identical twin brother who is a well known South and Central American revolutionary and activist called Moshe Moscovitz, who also has a show produced on TalkWarrior.com called Live from Mt. Sinai. While Dickie and Moshe are physically identical they have radically different interests. Moshe, as a child, loved The Communist Manifesto and dreamed of being a Communist revolutionary. Dickie, as a child, loved Playboy and dreamed of being Hue Hefner.
Dickie Richards currently makes a living as a stand up comedian and selling autographed photos of himself to aging fans who still remember the quirky kid who inhabited the baron wasteland of 70's TV.
